Her poetry has appeared online and in Australian journals and publications. Mel lived and worked in London for 2 years between 2007 and 2009, she is currently living in Melbourne, Victoria.
She is best known as a member of Brisbane spoken word collective Speedpoets, as well as the editor of independent poetry and arts magazine Miel.
