Career
In addition to being a plus-sized model and actress, Davis was also a television producer, magazine editor, motivational speaker and style consultant. At the age of 36 in Los Angeles, Davis died in 2011 after a knee operation she had to relieve pain from an old basketball injury. An autopsy determined the cause of death was from complications of a pulmonary embolism-- A blood clot in the lungs.
