Michael J. Anghel

Michael J. Anghel received a Master of Business Administration and a Doctorate from Columbia University and an undergraduate degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Career
Michael Anghel served as director and senior manager of Discount Investment Corporation Ltd (1977-1999). In 1999, he founded CAP Ventures Ltd., an advanced technology investment company, and served as its Managing Director from 1999 to 2004.
From 2004 to 2005, Michael Anghel served as the president and chief executive officer of Discount Capital Markets Ltd. He has been Director of Orbotech Ltd. from September 18, 2008, till 2018. Chairman for Gravity Visual Effects Inc. and Clariton Networks Ltd.
Prior to launching his business career, Michael Anghel served as a full-time member of the Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration of the Tel Aviv University, where he taught finance and corporate strategy.
Michael Anghel currently serves as Chairman of the Tel Aviv University’s Executive Program.
