He gained international attention with a song named "My Jeans", which he wrote and performed with Jenna Rose. The video went viral on YouTube and received over 14 million views in a brief period time. I Am Trigg was chosen as one of the opening acts for Chris Lighty"s Violator Management as the youngest artist on their roster in 2009.
At age 14, I Am Trigg wrote and produced a song for artist Jenna Rose called "My Jeans", which features a rap by Baby Triggy, on YouTube in October 2010.
The video has "spawned parodies, video responses, rap replies and more than a dozen pages of written critiques." In February 2013, "My Jeans" was featured in the Babelmusic.com"s Top 5 YouTube Candidates Foreign The Billboard Hot 100, making number 2 on the list.
