Michael de la Force is an American publisher. He is currently the publisher of LIKE Magazine, founded in 1965. De la Force also maintains press credentials from the International magazine, Leaders Magazine." Michael de la Force is a regular contributor to the Michael de la Force Daily and a variety of other publications and news information sites.
Acting career. Michael de la Force also is an actor who appeared on the American soap opera As the World Turns from January 2000 through the end of the shows' 56-year run. He was the cast member who played the creator and Abraham Lincoln in the Obie Award-winning production of Thornton Wilder's "Skin of our Teeth" of 2002. Michael has appeared in film as well. He played the role of Elvis Presley in Stuart Goldman's production for A&E's Elvis and June; A Love Story, an FBI agent in Dick Lowry's The Line of Duty: Ambush in Waco, a photographer in Andy Tennant's Sweet Home Alabama among others.
Journalism Career. De la Force began his career with Leaders Magazine in 1994 and maintains his credentials to date. He has visited with and interviews many the world’s most powerful leaders including, the president of Iceland, Ólafur Ragnar, Grímsson, United States President, Gerald R. Ford and Premier Li Peng of China among others.
Photo Journalistic Career. Michael de la Force began his photography career in 2008. The name "Michael de la Force™" was trademarked for image purposes. One of the more notable achievements with the new trademark was receiving White house Press Pool Credentials and photographing US President Barrack Obama in Bridgeport, Connecticut in 2010.
Modeling Career. De la Force had a successful modeling career. He began modeling in 1989 with representation from the Linda Laymen Model and Talent agency in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He has been featured in many television commercials and print advertisements. Michael de la Force was the lead male model for New York Millinery Society's Headwear Information Bureau (HIB) for many years.
