Plain Film in Heart Disease is an introductory book for students on reading chest x-rays. Through the use of case presentations, which stress deductive reasoning based on physiologic and anatomic principles, the author asks and answers common questions. He presents cases with radiographs, and then presents the differential diagnosis using the same radiographs now annotated. This unique approach to teaching, the result of training both as a radiologist and a cardiologist, makes this text extremely popular with students.
