Worked at Thomas A. Bernauer A Professional Corporation. (Secretary)
I began practicing in Orange County in January, 1968 joining the firm of Harwood, Heffernan, Soden & Corfman. Said firm being the third oldest firm in Newport Beach at said date and time.
Robert L. Corfman became an Orange County Superior Court Judge, retired and is now deceased.
Mark A. Soden became an Orange County Superior Court Judge and is now retired. The firm name became Harwood, Adkinson & Bernauer.
The founding partner of the firm Donald Doctorate. Harwood passed on in 1984 and I decided to establish my sole practice of law and continue to specialize in family law commencing January 1, 1986 which I maintain at the present date. In August 1980, I was a member of the first group of California family lawyers to be certified as a Specialist in Family Law.
I have lectured for the Continuing Education of the Bar on the subjects of community property, division of community property and child custody.
I have lectured for and on behalf of The National Business Institute, Incorporated., on the subject of the Effective Family Law Practice in California. I was asked to and have been participating in the Judge Pro Tem program in Orange County Superior Court since 1980. I maintain a specialty practice for those clients who wish individual, high quality legal work and full and complete representation performed promptly.
