Achievements include described new pathologic lesion in Parkinson's disease, an abnormal biochemical pathway (glycation) involved in Alzheimer's disease; among the first to discover that abnormal oxidations are present in Alzheimer's disease; discovered that melatonin protects neurons in Alzheimer's disease.
