Mihoemon II was born in 1724.

Career

Mihoemon II made his debut in 1762 at the Nakamuraza Theater and be­came Mihoemon II. He and Hangoro Sakata were the two most distinguish­ed players of villainous roles. He was unrivaled in interpreting the part of Lord Tokihira in Sugawara Denju Tenarai Kagami.
