He graduated from the Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology (OIART) in 1998.
Career
Shepherd started working at the studio soon after graduation. In 1999 Shepherd was made the studio"s head engineer Shepherd has been nominated in engineer/technician categories of the ECMAs, Music Nova Scotia and its predecessor MIANS. His clients have included Damhnait Doyle, MIR, and Nick Van Eede (Cutting Crew frontman).
Shepherd owns his own graphic design company Blazed Media Designs and has designed many album covers and artists" websites.
As well as engineering he has produced recordings.
