Mikhail was a Russian architect, who reconstructed a number of county cities in Poltava region, also worked as an army architect.

Mikhail Andreevich Amvrosimov (Afrosimov) was born about 1775 in the city of St. Petersburg, Russian Federation. He is of noble birth. Died after 1829 in the city of Novocherkassk (Don Military District). Worked in Poltava and Voronezh regions. Moved to Novocherkassk in 1819 due to health reasons.
Career
Worked in Poltava since 1803. According to his projects the province and a number of county cities were reconstructed. Transferred Voronezh at the request of Governor Mikhail Ivanovich Bravin in 1817. In September 1819, resigned for health reasons ("chest disease and weakness of vision") and moved to Novocherkassk. Since 1820, worked as an army architect of the Don Military Region, built several churches in Novocherkassk and the surrounding villages.
