Mikhail Vainshtein, USSR Editor, journalist.


Vainshtein, Mikhail was born in 1928 in Tula.


Graduated from theMoscow Polygraphic Institute. Moved to Tbilisi. Editor of Literaturnaia Gruziia. Left the USSR, 1977, and settled in Israel.

Edited and published: Lev Lunts’s Rodina I Drugie Proizvedeniia, Jerusalem 1981. Erenburg’s Staryi Skorniak I Drugie Proizvedenia, Jerusalem, 1983. Semen Gekht’s Prostoi Rasskaz О Mertvetsakh / Drugie Proizvedeniia, and A. Tsybulevskii’s Levkina Istoria I Drugie Proizvedeniia.


Religious moral codes pervert people outside their group as less moral. Thus, religion is socially divisive and its effect is harmful for society.
