Career

From 1917 with Red Guards, then with Red Army. Fought in Civil War; after the end of the Civil War commanded div, then corporations Commanded Volga, Transbaykal, Orel and Transcaucasian Military distribution

1st deputy inspector-general of infantry. 1941-1942 commanded 21st, then 33rd Army. Member, All-Russian Central Executive Committee.

Deputy, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Supreme Soviet of 1st convocation. April 1942, during Smolensk fighting, surrounded by Germans and seriously wounded.

Religion

Religion is bad because it divides people, and is a cause of conflict and war.

Views

The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
