Mikhail Grigoryevich has been in the revolutionary movement since 1913, he was a member of the Russian Social Democratic Labor Party (Bolsheviks) since 1915. He conducted revolutionary work among the soldiers and sailors of the Baltic Fleet.
After the February Revolution of 1917, Mikhail Grigoryevich was one of the organizers of the military Bolshevik cell in the city of Novgorod; since October 1917, he was a member of the Novgorod Provincial Committee of the Russian Social Democratic Labor Party (Bolsheviks), a member of the Military Revolutionary Committee.
Since June 1918 Mikhail Grigoryevich was in Voronezh. Member of the city committee and the provincial party committee, member of the provincial executive committee, chairman of the provincial Council of National Economy. Since November 1919, Chairman of the Kazan Provincial Council of National Economy, member of the Provincial Committee of the Russian Communist Party (Bolsheviks). After the end of the Civil War, Mikhail Grigoryevich was in party, Soviet and economic work. He was unreasonably repressed (1937), until 1954 was in custody.
