Mikhail Ivanovich graduated from the Agronomy Department of the Saratov State Vavilov Agrarian University (1935).

In 1940-1941, Mikhail Ivanovich Sidorov was the head of the agricultural engineering department of the experimental station in the city of Balti, Moldavian SSR.
