Hamburg Mikhail Klimentyevich was born in January, according to other sources on the 12th of July,1855 in Yaroslavl.
In Voronezh since 1879. He opened Music Classes (1879), which in 1882 were taken by the Imperial Russian Musical Society under their patronage and became the first professional music school in Voronezh. Director and teacher of these classes. He performed in concerts.
In 1888 he left for Moscow, and in 1890 he emigrated with his family to England. In London, he opened the "Hamburg-conservatory", in which for 20 years of its existence many Englishmen have received musical education. In 1910 he moved to Canada, took Canadian citizenship. In Toronto, he founded the Hamburg Conservatory, where by 1914 there were 30 teachers, pianoforte and 37 in other disciplines. Among the students he is the pianist-concertmaster with the world name Gerald Moore. He regularly performed, doing piano part in the "Hamburg Trio".
