Graduated from Law Department of Chuo University (1934) and became lecturer at his alma mater.
Began the practice of law and was nominated a director of Japan Lawyers’ Association. Elected four times to House of Representatives (since 1946). Became official at the Headquarters of Socialist Party, trustee of Chuo University and director of Great Japan Federation of Lawyers’ Associations (I9bl;. Became chairman of Special Committee for Revision of Election Law and assumed the additional post of auditor of Left-Wing Socialist Party.
