Graduated from Kyoto University (1924).
Career
Entered the service of the Ministry of Home Affairs and after being Governor of Shimane Prefecture was appointed chief of police (1946) and charged with the duty of maintaining law and order during the period following the end of the war. Later appointed vice-minister of Ministry of Home Affairs. Entering polities was elected to House of Representatives three times on a Liberal ticket.
