Career
In 1923 entered Yawata Steel Works and when it was merged into Japan Iron Manufacturing Company became its engineer (1934). Appointed superintendent of Shimomatsu Plant of Toyo Kobyo Kaisha (Toyo Steel Rivet Manufacturing Company) and its director (1939), chief of 1st Steel Materials Section of Yawata Steel Works of Japan Iron Manufacturing Company and its chief engineer (1942) and director (1946). When above company was dissolved served as liquidator and vice chief of Seisan Jimusho (Liquidation Office) (1950) and became president of Nihon Tokushu Kokan Kaisha (Japan Special Steel Pipe Manufacturing Company) (since 1950).
