Graduated from Tokyo University (1917).
Served as professor of Niigata Medical College (from 1922) and assistant professor then professor of Niigata Medical University (1927). Received degree for thesis “Experimental Researches on Endocrine of Testicles”(1925) and conducted numerous researches on general surgery and brain surgery. Works include “Brain Tumor,” “Brain Operation” and “Diagnosis and Treatment of Brain Tumor.’’ Also active as staff member of Hototogisu (a haiku magazine).
