Mohamed graduated with a Bachelor of Science Honors from the University of Khartoum in Sudan. He earned his Master of Science in 1987, from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, United States, and Doctor of Philosophy in Geosciences in 1991, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Wisconsin, United States.
Mohamed worked for over 30 years in oil, gas geosciences in diverse global settings in Africa, the Middle East, and the Far East and the United States. As a charity work advocate, he served as a petroleum consultant for the Darfur Peace Agreement in Doha, Qatar in 2010, and as the delegate of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists for the Middle East Region from 2008 to 2010.
His main areas of work are: leading an integrated team working on advanced 3D geomodeling, and geomechanical heterogeneity into engineering designs that would maximize the resource extraction and optimize fracture treatment, well spacing strategies and landing zones. Supervising and managing conventional and unconventional projects, business development in the MENA region.
Mohamed is a Sudanese-born husband, father, and citizen of the world, he is concerned with promoting education, prosperity and the good in people.
