President Mu'tah University, Kerak, Jordan, 1991-1993, AL al-Bayt University, Mafraq, Jordan, since 1993. Secretary-general Center for Archives and Manuscripts University Jordan, Jubaiha, 1980-1983, director since 1983.

Member of numerous other University committees including chairman Committee Science Research, 1984-1989, chairman Committee Scholarly Work Translation, 1988-1990. Committee Computer Center Council, 1988-1990, member University Jordan Deans' Council, 1989, committee on academy qualifications, documentary film project committee, 1990-1991, and others. Also member of committee formed by Syrian Minister of Culture and National Guidance entrusted with re-writing the history of Arabs.

Concession holder Arab Journal for History Studies, since 1984. Chairman national team supervising and writing textbooks for the National and Social Education projects taught at elementary school level.
