Morimasa Kamata was a warrior. Along with his brother Mitsumasa and Tsugunobu Sata and Tada-nobu Sato were considered as the four most powerful warriors of Yoshitsune Minamoto. In historical annals the four are referred to as "Yoshitsune’s Shitemio (four distinguished persons)." He was killed in the battle of Ichi-no-tani.
