Assistant manager of private lunatic asylum. Married, and took up public advocacy of Women's Suffrage, Temperance, Purity, and Liberal Politics: became lecturer on literary and social subjects. Led crusade against Empire Music Hall.
Took relief to Armenian refugees in Bulgaria.
Took out nurses to Greek frontier and Crete. Preacher (undenominational), lecturer, composer, and writer
