Muhayman"s extra curricular activities included broadcasting a weekly show on Baghdad"s FM radio station in the 1980s. More recently, he started Wheels and Wheelchairs, a small London based charity. This is based on skaters, rollerbladers and wheelchair users going out together as a group on a regular basis: &
Jamil has translated two Arabic novels into English, both by Betool Khedairi.
These are Absent and A Sky So Close.
Jamil"s translation of Inaam Kachachi"s work was published in Banipal magazine.
