Murray Seeger graduated from University of Iowa in 1951, earning his Bachelor of Arts. From 1961 to 1962 he was a student of Harvard University.
During the period of 1951-1952 Mr. Seeger resumed his office as reporter for Buffalo Evening News, Buffalo, NY. In 1952-1962 he worked at Cleveland Plain Dealer, Cleveland, OH, serving as a reporter. Between 1962 and 1964 he occupied the position of an editorial director at KYW-Radio and Television, Cleveland. He acted as a reporter for New York Times, New York City, in 1964-1965.
During the years 1965-1967 Murray Seeger was correspondent for Newsweek, Washington.
