Myers L. Girsh started a career as a corporate attorney at Scott Paper Co. in 1930 and worked there until 1937. He had a private law practice and also was the owner and founder of Warner West Corporation, home building enterprise in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1998 he released a book Fatal Decision under pseudonym Michael Gould. He died in Miami Beach, Florida as a retired attorney on May 8, 1999.

1998Girsh was strongly impacted by a severe disease of his second wife Miriam H. Goldstein who suffered from paranoid schizophrenia. In her honor, he donated a substantial sum of money to crate Myers L. & Marilyn R. Girsh Foundation, Inc. a philanthropic organization created to gather funds for mentally sick people.
Myers L. Girsh married Marilyn Ruth Girsh in 1925. Myers L. Girsh married Miriam H. Goldstein on December 22, 1932. With the latter, they had a daughter Marjorie Girsh Walker. A divorce was granted on September 18, 1950.
