Graduated from Theological Department of Boston University in 1932, and then studied at Postgraduate Department of the same university.
Career
In 1949, served as the person in charge of religious affairs at Aoyama Gakuin and then became director of Josiii Semmon Gakko (Women's College) and then president of Women’s Junior College of Aoyama Gakuin.
Serves also as professor of Literature Department of Aoyama Gakuin University and director of Christian Cultural Society and Shiritsu Tandai Kyokai (Private Junior Colleges’ Association).
