Nagasachi Takakura was born in 1838.
Nagasachi Takakura was appointed chamberlain toward the end of the Shogunate. Appointed commander-in-chief of punitive expedition to Hokurikudo (Fukui, Ishikawa, Toyama and Niigata prefectures) and marched to Edo Castle (1868). Later appointed commander-in-chief of expeditionary force to Hokuriku and Aizu (Fukushima Prefecture) and died in battle.
