Career
Was appointed assistant professor (1939) and then professor (1941) of Tokyo Higher Normal School, with change in name of said school became professor of Tokyo Educational University (1949), presently holds additional post as instructor of Meiji Gakuin University.
Specializes in critical literature of England and America and wrote many treatises and books, among which are "The Modern English Critical Literature" and "The Modern American Critical Literature".
