Natalia Mikhailovna was a teacher in her native school (1978-1981). Since 1995 she has been working at Borisoglebsk State Pedagogical Institute: senior laboratory assistant, assistant (1996-2001), senior teacher, associate professor (2001-2004, 2007-2008), professor, head of the Russian Language Department and its teaching methods in primary classes since 2008.
Her research interests are connected with the study of the literary heritage of M.A. Sholokhov. She is the author of more than 60 educational, methodical and scientific works, including the monographs published in Borisoglebsk.
