Became chairman of Harbor Fish Market Union (1929) and when it was reorganized into a joint-stock company was appointed president of the new company (1932). Served successively as chairman of Hachinohe Chamber of Commerce & Industrv. Senior managing director of Tohoku ShinKo Suisan (Fisneries Promotion) Company, chairman of Aomori Prefectural Fisheries Association and director of Fineries & Leather Control Association and later became president of Hachinoe I Koa (Asia Development) Shipbuilding and Steel Company (1944), president of Chuo Gyorui (Fish) Company (1946) and president of Taiyo Refrigerator Ship Company (1953). Elected four times to House of Representatives and served as member of Executive Board of Liberal Party.President of Tohoku Shinko Suisan (Fisheries Promotion) Company and Hachinoe 1 Fish Market Company.
