Graduated from Kyoto University (1929).
Career
Served as professor of Osaka University of Commerce. Purged from the institution in connection with the Case of the University of Commerce in 1943, but after the war reinstated to the present posts as professor of the Osaka University and of the Osaka Municipal University.
Views
Author of "Study of International Theories of Value" which was an ambitious work in explaining the theory of trade from the angle of labor value. He also took up the international value theory of Marx in con-nection with the various classical economic theories of England.
