Neelabh Banerjee, who signs his work NeelabhToons, is an Indian cartoonist and illustrator.

Career

Neelabh is currently the national creative director at Reliance Industries Limited. His cartoons and animation series named Breaking Toons appear on Cable News Network-IBN, IBN7 and ETV channels. Neelabh Banerjee is the first Indian celebrity cartoonist to offer his work to be copied or stolen! Many newspapers, typically in the regional media and unable to afford top-quality cartooning, take this unusual offer with both hands.

Also, NeelabhToons is now seen featuring in short animations.

Here, he is a bird who flies into newsy situations where no other media person can! Neelabh was born in Lucknow in 1965. He started his career as a crime reporter at The Pioneer and later worked as a cartoonist and illustrator for Target magazine.

He moved on to become a staff artist at the Times of India, where he was the national arts and illustrations editors The comic strips were collected in a book, Dubyaman"s Duniya, which appeared in 2002.

The two have also collaborated on the strip Duniya ke Neta which appeared in the Times of India.
