Folberg has been self-employed since 1972. Before 1976 he did work of a documentary nature, including studies of Yugoslav Macedonia and Lubavitcher Hasidic Jews in the U.S. and Canada. His most recent photographs have been of Jerusalem and color landscapes of the Sinai.
