Since 1941 - the master of sports of tennis, 1947 - Honored Master of Sports of the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics. In 1941 he enrolled in the acting department Russian University of Theatre Arts, who graduated in 1946 and joined the Moscow Art Theater, where he played more than 20 roles.
