Viktoriya studied at the State Institute of Theatrical Art of the Russian University of Theatre Arts - (Russian University of Theatre Arts) and the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography - (Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography), in the workshop of Joseph Heifits.

Career

The actress of the Moscow Drama Theater. Stanislavsky. She graduated from Russian University of Theatre Arts and Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography and made her debut in "The Day Duty" 1997 short film. Viktoriya Tolstoganova is also an actress of the Moscow Art Theatre, where she played in "We Start a New Life, or the Oginski Polonaise", "The Masquerade", "Khlestakov" and "The Twelfth Night" performances.

She also played in such stagings as "The Plasticine", "Shopping and Fucking" and "Boris Godunov".

She was twice married and has three children. In 2003 she played the role of Marina in The Magnetic Storms.

In 2004 she was selected to help chose the recipients of Russia"s Triumph Prize winners. In 2007 she played a prostitute in the film May.

In 2010 she starred in the Klim Shipenko directed Who am I? playing a provincial journalist.

Membership

In 2005 she was a member of the jury at the 27th Moscow International Film Festival.
