Career
Eastwood started his corporate career in telecoms as Sales Director at telecommunications company Daisy Commercial. He was later appointed Channel Development Director at Fizz Telecom before moving to Primus Telecommunications Group as Sales Director in 2008. Based in London, it has a call center function in Nelson, Lancashire, which was relocated back from India in 2011.
The company provides telecoms and Internet services to over 750,000 subscribers in the United Kingdom, and operates a number of telecoms brands, including Fuel Broadband, Planet Talk, Just Dial, and Rate Buster.
In 2014, New Call Telecom established a presence in India. In October 2014, it was announced that it had acquired a 70 per cent stake in social messaging platform Nimbuzz for $175 million.
In February 2015, the company announced the acquisition of India"s largest public Wi-Fi provider Ozone.
Membership
Through New Call Telecom Eastwood is also a shareholder and board member of international wholesale voice carrier WaveCrest United Kingdom.
