Edited the magazine Bibliograf, 1884 -94. Compiled a full bibliography of 18th—19th century Russian periodicals (Russkaia Periodicheskaia Pechat' 1703-1900), also bibliographical lists on many specialized subjects. Lectured on bibliography at Petrograd University, 1913-1917, and Moscow University, 1916-1919.
