Nikolai Prokopiuk, USSR State security official.


Prokopiuk, Nikolai was born on June 7, 1902 in the village of Samchiki in the Ukraine.


In the Red Army during the Civil War, 1918-1920, then joined the Cheka. Sent as an NKVD official to Spain during the Civil War. During World War II, head of the special Cheka group Okhotniki on a terror mission in German-occupied Ukraine, 1942-1944.

Sent as an NKVD official to help Mao Tse-tung in China, 1944-1946. Retired, 1950.


Religion is a cause of numerous conflicts and bloody wars throughout the history of mankind.


The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
