Education
Nikolai graduated from the Faculty of Law of Moscow University and the Moscow Conservatory (1911).
Career
After graduation from the Faculty of Law of Moscow University and the Moscow Conservatory (1911), Nikolai performed in various cities. He worked as a film director since 1914. He also worked in the Voronezh Theater of Musical Comedy (1932-1944), where he performed film productions: "The Sorochinskaya Fair" Alexei Ryabov, "The Honor of the uniform" Valentin Belitsa, "The Autumn Maneuvers", "The Silva" Irma Kalman and others.
