During the years 1937-1941 Nikolai Ivanovich worked as a laboratory assistant, a graduate student, a senior teacher. He participated in the Great Patriotic War. Since 1944, an electrical engineer, teacher, senior lecturer, associate professor, head of the department of physics, dean of the building technology department (1961-1964), dean of the building department (1970-1979) of Voronezh Civil Engineering Institute. Research Interests: Solid State Physics.
