1919 graduate Yekaterinoslav Boys’ High School. 1920-1925 studied at Biological Faculty, Dnepropetrovsk Institute of Public Education. 1928 graduate Biological Faculty, 1st Moscow University.
From 1921, while still a student, worked as assistant, Chair of Invertebrate Zoology, Dnepropetrovsk Institute of Public Education. 1922-1924 with Azov-Black Sea Ichthyological Expedition. From 1924, while completing studies, dissector and assistant.
Chair of Biology, Dnepropetrovsk Medical Institute. 1928 for a while assistant. Chair of Histology, Moscow University.
1928-1932 taught biology at a school and at Workers’ Faculty, Leningrad University. 1932-1967 lecturer, assistant professor, then professor of biology. Leningrad University.
1941-1945 in Soviet Army. Head of laboratory, evacuation hospital. 1945-1948 head, Chair of Developmental Dynamics of Organisms, Leningrad University.
Also director, Laboratory of Fish-Breeding Principles, Main Fishery Board. Also section head, Biological Institute, Leningrad University. 1952-1967 head, Chair of Ichthyology and Hydrobiology, Leningrad University.
Studied morphology, physiology, endocrinology, ecology, axonomy and evolution of fish and founded new biological trend - ecological histophysiology. On the basis of this made valuable proposals for increasing Soviet fish stocks. Wrote over 100 works, including textbooks and teaching aids.
There is no solid or tangible evidence for God nor a logical argument for God. The existence of God is taken on faith and not by evidence.
Marxism–Leninism as the only truth could not, by its very nature, become outdated.
