Career
From 1933 professor, Zhukovskiy Air Force Academy. Specialized in airframe metallurgy. Collated data in this field and submitted physico-chemical explanations for a number of metallurgical problems, particularly in the heat treatment of special steels.
Studied rapid steeltempering processes, the effect of the rate of cooling on the structure of special steels, internal cohesion in liquid alloys, et cetera 1931 introduced a method for surface tempering of alloys by means of contact electr heating and until 1936 elaborated and theoretically explored this method.
