Nikolay Dmitrievich Litvinov

Nikolay Litvinov was born on October 10th, 1949 in village Kruets, Ostrogozhsk district, Voronezh region, Russian Federation.

Education

Nikolay Dmitrievich graduated from Voronezh assembly technical school in 1969, graduated from law department of high school in politics of USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg) in 1977. Doctor of Law (2000), associate professor (1993).

Career

In 1977-1978 Nikolay Dmitrievich was an employee of criminal investigation department in Leningrad. From 1978 to 1982 he was the research associate of the Research Center at management problems in Ministry of Internal Affairs Academy in Moscow. From 1982 to 1986 Nikolay Dmitrievich worked as a teacher of special disciplines department in high school of politics in Leningrad. In 1986-1989 was the chief inspector in Northwest Department of USSR Internal Affairs. In 1989-1993 was the chief researcher of Central Office in All-Russian Research Institute of USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs. From 1993 to 1996 was chief of law department in Voronezh High School at Russian Federation Ministry of Internal Affairs. In 1996-1999 was the expert of State Duma of Federal Assembly in Russia, also consultant of Deputy Administration of Russian Government.

In 1999-2003 was the deputy chief of Voronezh Institute of Russian Federation Ministry of Internal Affairs. In 2003-2005 was the chief researcher of Black Earth branch at All-Russian Research Institute on the Russian Federation Ministry of Internal Affairs. Since 2005 Litvinov is an assistant to rector of Voronezh State Architectural University.

Nikolay Dmitrievich is an author of more than 100 works including books: "Caucasian terror in Russian Empire" (Moscow, 1999), "Terrorist Organizations: creation and activity" (Moscow, 1999), "Idea in the development of anti-state terrorism" (Voronezh, 2000), "First blood in Russia" (Voronezh, 2006; joint work with I.S. Surovtsev).
