Nikolay Nikitovich graduated from the Department of Folk Instruments of the Regional Cultural and Educational School (1976, Volgograd), the faculty of cultural and educational work of the Voronezh State Institute of Arts (now Voronezh State Academy of Arts) with a degree in "Director of an Academic Choir" (1989).
Nikolay Nikitovich worked as accompanist of the agitation theater (1976-1979, the city of Volzhsky, Volgograd Region), artistic director, artist in the House of Culture of the Volgograd Region (1979-1982). In 1983, he moved to the city of Kalach, worked as artistic director, director of the House of Culture of the sugar factory (1983-1992). He became a Head of the Department of Culture of the district administration (1992-2007).
Nikolay Nikitovich is an organizer and an artistic director of the ensemble "Russian springs" (1992) and the laureate of many regional vocal and choral competitions "Village sings native."
Nikolay Nikitovich is the initiator of the creation in Kalach of the Center for Traditional Culture (1996), the Union of Artists and Craftsmen (1996), the winner of many competitions of amateur composers, the author of more than 300 songs.
