Yuri Klyuchnikov was born on August 23, 1952 in Lepehino village, Novokhopyorsky District, Voronezh Region, Russian Federation.
He graduated from Voronezh Regional School of Culture and Education (the town of Bobrov, 1974).
Yuri Klyuchnikov worked as a methodologist, director, graphic designer of the House of Culture (1974-1983) in Novokhopyorsky District; accompanist, artistic director of the agitation and concert brigade. Since 2000, he is an organizer and leader of the folklore ensemble of the Cossack song "Pristanskaya", which participates in many regional festivals of traditional culture.
