Nikolay Prokopevich graduated from the Voronezh Art School (1983, teachers V.K. Znatkov, A.N. Lavrov, V.E. Shpakovsky). The participant of the highland thematic, regional exhibitions since 1985.
Nikolay Prokopevich is the author of a series of paintings: "Indian Summer" (1998), "Russian Village" (2002), "Churches of Voronezh" (2002). In 1996-2001, he wrote a number of icons on various subjects for the churches of Voronezh and Voronezh region, for the Uspenskaya (Admiralty) church in Voronezh (1999) in particular.
