Nili Ohayon, stage name Onili, is an Israeli singer-songwriter, performer, video artist, and the head of the label and brand Onili.
Education
Studied Cinema at Louisiana Sorbonne while actively working with her band "Story about the clown" and collaborating with local artists in various genres as a singer and a writer, including the hit single "Starlight" by The Supermen Lovers, which made it to the Top of the charts worldwide.
Career
Born in Israel, raised in Paris where she began her career as Nili. In 2004, she moved to Haifa, and set foot in a country side studio where she spent 4 years creating Onili, her new solo project Working on all aspects of her product.
Music.
Production; marketing and branding, collaborating with Israeli artists and musicians such as Barak Kram, Jonathan Levy (bassist & Producer), Sabbo & Kuti kutiman, Borgore, Pilpeled, Dreck & Broken fingaz ( Designers). In 2008, she moved to Tel Aviv, to study post production and release her first album "be somebunny" her videos and songs reach television and Radio, as she and Barak started touring the world with their tight Electronic popular show. She also took part in a side project called " The Secret Project" with Shaul Eshet, a multi-musician, composer and producer.
Together they created "Shhh", the secret project"s first album, the album was released in Israel in July 2010, 4 month after Onili"s first album " Be somebunny" (April 2010).
Onili"s Activity in Israel between 2004 to 2010 was intense including the release of 5 singles 2 albums, 5 video clips, licensing songs to television ads and prime time television shows ("Life" National Broadcasting Company). In Europe she collaborated with a French clothing brand (cotelac) selling 20,000 copies of " First Kiss" European Parliament, and producing the first Onili fashion designs. in late 2012 onili moved to Boston Master of Arts, where she collaborates with Lipsync, a music sync company based in Los Angeles, her songs were placed in multiple television shows ( such as tiny wolf, degrassi,and more), as well as in a JC Penny television ad, and Hollywood films.
