Career
Not much is known of his life. At least four poems are attributed to him definitely. According to records, he was accorded the senior grade of the fifth Court ranlc (711), sent to the Ise Grand Shrine by order of the Court (712) and appointed Settsu-Taifu, or Governor of Settsu Province (Hyogo Prefecture) (735). Some of his poems were composed in Tsukushi (Kyushu).
